    新型コロナウィルス感染拡大等の影響により、研究の進捗に大幅な遅れが発生しているが、計測対象世帯を増やし、研究の進捗に努めている。 採用したデバイスや実験の内容から遠隔地での実施は困難と思われたため、対象世帯については研究実査担当者の所属する研究拠点近くの都道府県に限定するなど、計測対象及び実験内容については妥協せざるを得ない点があったものの、当初目的の一つである給湯負荷および電力負荷の収集については目途が立ち、計測世帯数を確保するとともに、計測項目の追加なども含め作業を継続している。給湯使用量の項目別分解(湯はり、シャワー、洗面、台所での使用など)、後述の実験に関連する電力多消費機器の把握に向けて計測器を作成している。また、コロナウイルス対策による行動の制限及び緩和の影響を評価するため、一部世帯に室内の空気質(CO2濃度や粉じん量など)を計測するデバイスを設置するとともに、車両にGPSロガーを設置し、行動の変化を観察するなどして分析用の基礎データを確保することに努めている。 行動変容実験に関しては、RaspberryPiによる実施を目的として、Webサーバー上(FTPサーバー)を介して電力の使用の促進、抑制を指示する仕組みを構築し、実査に向けて準備を進めている。実査は令和4年度から順次実施する予定である。また、令和3年度後半から令和4年度にかけてRaspberryPi調達が困難な状況が続いているため、代替案としてWifi通信機能付きマイコンM5Stackで同様の実験が実施できるようセンサーの選定およびプログラムの構築を進めた。
