Profile

• Naka Gotoda is currently an Assistant Professor of Kagawa University, Japan. He graduated in March 2006 from Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokushima, Japan. He received his ME and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Information Science and Intelligent Systems, the College of Systems Innovation Engineering, Graduate School of Advanced Technology and Science at the University of Tokushima in March 2008 and September 2010, respectively. He was a postdoctoral research fellow of JSPS at the University of Tokushima from October 2010 to March 2011, and at Kochi University of Technology, Japan from April 2011 to March 2012. He was a researcher of JISS, Japan from April 2012 to March 2015. His research interests are in skill science of human beings. He is a member of IEICE, HIS, JSiSE, JSAI and AIJ.

  経済産業省の地域経済産業活性化対策調査によると，観光地において滞在時間が長いほど飲食代やお土産代をはじめ，消費行動が増加することが報告された．近年，観光において，最速ルートや最短経路を案内する地図アプリケーションを用いて観光地を巡る観光者が増加しており，観光者の滞在時間の減少につながっている．本研究では、観光地探索システム「KadaRadar/カダレーダー」を開発する．本システムは，観光者に観光地までの最短距離や詳細な地図を提示するのでなく，現在地と周囲の観光地アイコンのみをレーダーに提示し，観光地到着までの探索を支援するシステムである．

  多くの観光者が観光地のレビュー情報を活用している．各レビュー情報には情報を有効に活用できる期限があるが，既存の観光地レビューサイト等では考慮されていない．また，観光分野においてゲーミフィケーションが注目されており，訪問観光地数や滞在時間の増加に一定の効果があることが報告されている．本研究では，観光地周遊支援システム「KadaSola/カダソーラ」のリアルタイム観光地レビュー共有機能を開発する．本機能は，観光地に対するレビューを観光者間でリアルタイムに共有するシステムである．ゲーミフィケーションのソーシャルアクションにより，観光者の観光地訪問意欲を刺激し，訪問観光地数や滞在時間の増加を目指す．

  一般的に学習者は，分からないことがあるとき質問行動によって，解決を図る．教授者も，学習者の質問行動から学習者の理解状況を把握する．我々は，学習者の理解状況を把握するための方法として，学習者の質問行動に着目し，ジャーニーマップやペルソナ法，インタビューを活用した質問行動調査を実施した．その結果，学習者は質問行動に心理的な負担を抱えていることが明らかになった．我々は，学習者の質問行動に対する心理的負担を軽減させる手段として，ダミー学習者を利用した質問行動支援システムを開発した．本論文では，学習者の質問行動に対する心理的な負担を軽減する質問行動支援システムと評価について述べる．

  絵葉書は，多くの観光地で販売されており，観光者は，絵葉書を自身の思い出として購入する．また，観光者は，絵葉書にメッセージを書き，友達などに送る．これは，絵葉書を自身の思い出としてだけでなく，他者を観光地へと誘うことにつながっている．我々は，旅の思い出を記録した絵葉書自動生成・印刷システム「KadaVenir/カダベール」を開発した．カダベールは，絵葉書をもとにした観光を促し，観光地を訪問する動機づけを支援するとともに，観光者が撮影した写真から絵葉書を生成することで，観光者自身の思い出作りを支援するシステムである．本論文では，カダベールの概要および香川県小豆島における実証実験について述べる．

  既存の教育支援システムは，「どの程度，学習者の状態や状況を把握できるか」という観点からは，学習者情報の取得・推定手法は個別的であり，人間の教師のように多様な視点で学習者を把握できているとは言えない．本稿は，学習状態のモニタリングから取得可能な多様な学習者の情報に基づき学習支援する教育支援システムの開発について述べる．さらに，多面的に心的特性情報（学習履歴や知識状態を含む）を統合して教育制御に反映させる手法として，「バイアス付き多数決法」の基本アルゴリズムについて述べる．

  本研究では，観光ガイドブックの写真を，同一の場所，同一の構図で観光者自身が撮影した写真に置き換えることで旅の思い出を記録する観光ガイドブック生成／印刷システム「KadaPam／カダパン」を開発し，香川県小豆島において実証実験を実施した．本稿では，カダパンについて述べるとともに，小豆島において実施した実証実験と実証実験で得られたデータをもとに行った観光者の観光行動分析の結果について述べる．観光行動分析の結果，カダパンは観光地の圏域形成を支援し，観光者を同じ圏域の別の観光地へ誘う一定の効果があることを確認した．

  We developed an SNS system, which enables system-users to write online academic reviews and share them with others. The aim of this study is to make users more activated on reviewing papers. We propose a rough-set method which includes uses' viewpoints to recommend review articles or reviewers against traditional keyword-search method. If users get referrals, they can receive various information. This method increases review articles and users' communication about review on an SNS system.

  This paper describes the motor skill training with online-communities. In a lot of the training systems, the system developer designed a learning method. But, it is not form that a learner as the leader put out one's method. We approach flexible online-communities that allowed the leader to design activity-log suitably for motor skill.   習慣的ランニングの経験がない学習者(以下:初学ランナー)が,その活動を継続させるには,動機付けの困難性が伴う.これは,ランニングの単独実施性に因る.本研究では,各初学ランナーの活動履歴に基づき,コミュニティサイトを活用したランニング動機付け獲得・維持に関する支援の提案を行う.初学ランナーは,活動履歴を取得する運動デバイスとして,GPS,HRMを使用する.システムが活動履歴を蓄積し,得られた活動地域情報からコミュニティ推薦,また運動情報から運動改善レポート作成を行う.SNS上の試用環境で実施した2度の実験の結果・考察を通じて,初学ランナーの動機付け獲得及び維持に対し,システムの有用性が確認された.

  This paper describes a learning and education scenario using an supporting environment for MS-PowerPoint customization. Many lecturers in current higher education often use slide materials as primary tool for their lectures. However, most of them simply deliver these files to their students who will not learn deeply in such a scenario. We think it important for students to make or modify it by themselves according to various pedagogical purposes. Hence this work develops such a learning scenario using MS-PowerPoint modification.

  本研究は，これまで暗黙知とされてきた建築業・建設業の熟練技能者や若手技能者などの技能を習熟度別に体系化し，技能を学ぼうとする学習者の習熟度に合わせた技能をICTによる支援で効率の良い技能継承を可能とする研究である．具体的には熟練技能者や若手技能者などの作業動作を蓄積し，分析し学習者の習熟度に応じた評価や，適切な動作指示がICTによる支援で直感的に効率よく行える技能継承システムを構築するものである． 2021年度の研究計画では，熟練技能者や若手技能者などの動作を撮影しデータを蓄積し，その動画を分析した上で定性的評価を行い，学習者の技能と熟練技能者の差を認識し，技能の継承をICTによる支援が可能となるシステムを構築することが計画されていた．実施状況としては，左官初学者に対して，動画でのフィードバックを行うことで，自分の動きを客観的視点で確認できることによる左官動作の変化を調査した．「骨格推定を用いた左官技能の可視化に基づく技能教育手法の検討」（村主ら2022）． 本研究の分析結果では，自分の作業を撮影した動画とお手本の動画を比較して振り返りを行うことで被験者の動きに影響があった可能性が示された．また，骨格推定を用いて，グラフや相関係数を出力することで，動きの変化を可視できるため，学習者の教育を支援できる可能性が示唆された． 一方で，研究２として計画していた，モーションセンサから得た出力に基づき，力を入れるタイミングや，力を抜くタイミングなど動作に合わせて擬音語や図形に変換し動作に重ねわせることでより視覚的に分かりやすいものにする内省強化のための映像視聴ができるシステムの開発と実践を行う研究に関してはコロナ禍の要因により研究開始が当初より繰り下がったため2022年度内に実施する計画である．
• Development of an Educational System Focusing on Characteristics of Human Mind

  2020年度は（P1）バイアス付き多数決法を用いた多面的な心的特性情報に基づく教育制御方法のアルゴリムを明らかにして、教育支援システムを試作した。バイアス付き多数決法は、【STEP1】個々の心的特性情報に基づき教育制御候補案（複数個）を決定する、【STEP2】教育制御候補案に重み付けをして、多数決で教育制御候補を１個選択する、【STEP3】選択された教育制御処理を実行し、学習者を適切に教育支援できたか判定する、【STEP4】判定結果に基づき、STEP2で使用した重み付けを変更する、の４つのステップで多面的に心的特性情報を統合して教育制御に反映させる。特に、バイアス付き多数決法は（P1）バイアス付き多数決法を用いた多面的な心的特性情報に基づく教育制御方法の確立、および、（P2）本教育制御方法を組み込んだ教育支援システムの開発と評価が主たる課題であり、（P1-1）心的特性情報に基づいた教育制御候補案への適切な重み付けはいかに設定すればよいのか（バイアス付き多数決法の【STEP2】と【STEP4】）、と（P1-2）実行した教育制御に対する教育支援の善し悪しをどのように判定すればよいのか（バイアス付き多数決法の【STEP3】）に着目して研究を実施した。特に（P1-1）の教育制御候補案への適切な重み付け、（P1-2）の実行した教育制御に対する教育支援の妥当性の判定を行うサブモジュールを搭載する教育支援システムを試作した。また、当該研究に関連する多面的な心的特性情報を取得するインタフェースの検討や本システムで利用するコンテンツ作成環境の試作も併せて実施した。これらの成果は教育工学に関連する複数の学会で発表した。
• 瞬発的筋力トレーニングに対する神経系および骨格筋エネルギー代謝の適応機序の解明

  瞬発的筋力は運動パフォーマンスや高齢者の転倒予防に関連する極めて重要な体力要素であり、瞬発的筋力発揮を行うトレーニング(瞬発的筋力トレーニング)によって改善が可能であるが、短期のトレーニング中断によってその能力は低下することを研究代表者は報告した(Kobayashi et al., 2013)。この適応機序に関して、神経系の適応に加えて筋の無酸素性エネルギー代謝による影響も示唆されるが、その詳細は不明であった。そこで本研究では、瞬発的筋力トレーニングに関して、エネルギー代謝の適応機序を明らかにしていくことを目的とした。2019年度においては、当該トレーニング実施時の一過性の応答を評価した。2020年度においては、健常な成人男性数名を被検者として、瞬発的筋力トレーニングの試行実験を行った。トレーニング内容は、運動形態として膝伸展運動を用い、1秒以内の全力での瞬発的筋力発揮を5秒ごとに10回行う運動を、1分の休憩を挟んで3セット行うものとした。トレーニング期間・回数は、8週間・週2回とした。トレーニングを実施した結果、膝伸展筋力発揮時の力の立ち上がり率の向上が認められた。また、トレーニング期間終了後、2週間および4週間の脱トレーニング期間を設けたのちに、同様の筋力測定を行ったところ、4週間後における力の立ち上がり率についてはトレーニング実施前と同様のレベルまで低下することが認められる等、本実験に用いるトレーニングとしておおよそ適当であることが確認された。
• Cyberphysical Space Connecting Local and Global Perspectives in Supporting Motor-Skill Development

  In this study, we focused on both individual player skills and team tactics in team sports. The project designed, developed, and evaluated learning support systems in various contexts for them. Particular concerns of our project was cognitive skill development. The concrete targets have the similar characteristics or properties in playing; i.e. basketball and soccer. Further, we developed typical tactical extraction functions based on internal representations of the actual data and applied them to learning. For individual skill learning, we applied acceleration sensors and eye tracking technology to analyze and provide information for offensive and defensive skills. As a result, we were able to design an effective environment for player skill and team tactical learning. In addition, we also developed a prototype environment that combines a two-dimensional plane from bird's-eye view and a three-dimensional stereoscopic view.

  It is an urgent task for the education institutes to use Information and Communication Technology (ICT) devices effectively. The education institutes not only introduce ICT devices, but also it is necessary to evaluate the effect of the introduced ICT devices. This research proposes ICT Operational Model and ICT Operational Sinario which express teacher’s operation in a lecture. • Development of a viewing support system that adds symbol information to daily exercise videos

  2年目の目的は，個人の習熟過程を対象に，明らかになった支援対応に基づいて，運動者の成長モデルを検討・定義し，成長の各ステージに対して，適切な符号化の組み合わせを検討することであった．初年度に具体的な対象の一例として，建築の職人技能に関連した膝の動きの成分を対象に，成長モデルの検討と定義を前倒しで実施することができていた．このため，2年目は，より現場に近い実践として，職業訓練法人 富士教育訓練センターの協力を経て，最終目標となるような現在の名工，技能の成長途上の若者を含む複数の職人を対象に，映像撮影，IMUのセンサ測定と分析を実施することができた．これにより，視聴時に注目すべき体の箇所の組み合わせを検討することができた．なお，システム援用による自己解決の限界については，新型コロナウイルス感染症により，人との接触を避けなければならない状況が生じたため，当初想定していた調査の一部は安全性を配慮し，やむなく回避することとした．一方で，知識理解に重みをおき，代替案を模索した．非接触で分析でき，リモートの視聴を視聴して技能を高めるような仕組みを代替案として検討した．その結果，事前に撮影したフットサル映像を対象に，運動内省を支援するために，人の骨格推定に基づく動きを抽出し，重畳できる仕組みを検討した．平面図視点に，選手の骨格情報による体の向きを反映した符号化情報として，ボロノイ図とよばれるオフザボール検討につながる描画方法を提案し，自己での試合の振り返りを通じて，情報蓄積と教材化の循環促進につながる運動内省を支援する動画再生が実現できた．これにより2年目は，新型コロナウイルスの影響を受けながらも，知識理解の支援の仕組みを構築することができた．
• Development of a Bicycle Safety Riding Leaning System by Using Virtual Load Environment with AR

  We design and develop an educational system for safety bicycle driving by using mobile device and AR(Augmented Reality) technology. We prototyped a mobile devise based application "Pocket Police" as the first step of our development. Pocket Police detects riding behavior of bicycle riders at real time. If it detects inappropriate riding, warning message with text display and sounds is given to the rider. By this warning, riders can notice their riding behavior is not appropriate. Pocket Police also provides a post learning system wherein riders can learn safety driving deeply at home by using driving log data. We need to provide various kinds of virtual road environment for safety bicycle driving education. In order to construct the virtual roads flexibly, we designed and prototyped a virtual road construction system by using AR technology. In addition, we are have developed a school teacher support system for easily editing virtual road data.
• Intention Database for Acquiring Skills based on Externalization of Own Performance

  In order to acquire skills, including motor skill, to verbalize what they feel and to train what they should consider are effective. However, how to verbalize their feel and what to consider are not clear. The objective of this research is to propose the methods for promoting verbalization of what they feel and develop the training methods for acquiring motor skill according to the intentions. This objective is decomposed into following sub-objectives;i)to construct a system that promotes verbalization of feeling based on the depiction of motion by a skeleton model, ii) to construct a system that promotes verbalization of feeling based on explanation / self-explanation, iii) to design the intention database to accumulate derived feeling / intention, and iv) to develop skill learning support system based on feeling / intention.

  We developed a system which players can learn the better posture and movement through a selectable environment of perception support (i.e. audio and visual) which is easy to accept the hint information of physical learning based on analysis of sensor data of wearable device and captured video with the device. By using the system, as the feedback support, we focus on a promotion effect of reflection, and we conducted an experiment for basic training movement as the target. The system provided output of flexible perception information as an adaptive type for individuals, which shows the difference between the current and target status. The result suggested a promotion of comprehension for the movement and posture by using feedback method which doesn’t depend on a traditional and one-way coaching using audio, text or chart.
• Support for the Achievement of Repetitive Physical Skill

  As for the human integrated motor-skills, this study focuses on repetitive movements and we have studied an environment with information system technology to support it. Concrete target skills can be applied for jump rope and hula-hoop playing. They are monotonous movements with different directionality of exercise, but there are phase differences of motion timing in the movement elements. Therefore, step-by-step learning is required for mastering the skills. In this study, we designed and developed learning support environments with image processing techniques and multiple types of sensors for observation. Visual and auditory feedback are implemented to support learning. Through experiments, several issues were resolved.

  We developed the flexible methodology of focusing the learner's independence to promote comprehension of physical learning for acquisition body movement by investigation and analysis of cognitive influences on and. Also, we developed the architecture which converts sensor data from several points of movement as learning target to another movement. Moreover, we developed the methodology of feedback on the physical leaning through the development and experiment of “avatar” which supports the training by representation of “movement” and so on.

  本研究の研究目的(A)個人の主観性に着目したスキル系ノウハウの分析・抽出に関する技術開発に対して,ワイヤレスセンサを組み合わせたWebベースの観測インタフェースを用いて,スキルのデータを蓄積・解析可能なシステムを構築した.これにより,様々な運動者が持つ動作の意図や意識する動作特徴の情報を容易に遠隔から観測でき,また,いつでもどこでも運動者へリアルタイムにフィードバックすることが可能となった.また,ノウハウの分析・抽出には,Webのファイル蓄積機能に連動した解析モジュールを開発し,必要に応じて過去のデータと同期させて比較することが可能となった.このため,運動者の主観性を柔軟に扱える環境が実現された.研究目的(B)スキル習得における個人の意図や意識を表現する手法として,センサから得られる情報を明示的に視覚化するインタフェースを開発した.また,リアルタイム性が要求される際には,光や音によってフィードバックする枠組みを開発した.これにより,一定の時間を要するトレーニングに対しては,過去を深く振り返った計画を立てることが可能となり,また,瞬間的なスキルには,改善動作を意識するタイミングや方向性を認識することが容易となり,訓練の効率がさらに高まった.研究目的(C)集団における主観性に着目したスキル伝播の実践的検証に関しては,訓練の目的に応じて,集団での同期的訓練,集団での非同期的訓練の2つの形態を取り扱った.検証の中で,主観性に着目したスキル伝播の様子を運動者自身にも明らかになる形で表現し,暗黙的なスキルの伝播支援の一端を実現した.
