- Comprehensive study of the Kamakura Shogunate Gokenin multi-layered system by exhaustive collection of cases and field surveyJapan Society for the Promotion of Science：Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (C)Date (from‐to) : 2021/04 -2026/03Author : 清水 亮; 守田 逸人本研究課題では、単一所領に複数の鎌倉幕府御家人が重層的に権益を有し、彼らが荘園制・地域社会に関わる体制を「鎌倉幕府御家人重層配置体制」と呼び、①A九州において惣地頭－小地頭制が採られた事例、①B九州以外の地域における広域所領の地頭と当該所領内の在来地頭（あるいは地頭職を持たない御家人）との併存がみられる事例、②関東御領（預所ー地頭関係など）、③鎌倉幕府特権的支配層の所領のうち地頭代が御家人である事例の３類型（ないし４類型）に分類し、『鎌倉遺文』およびその補遺編、『吾妻鏡』、『中世法制史料集第一巻 鎌倉幕府法』、『南北朝遺文 中国・四国編』・『南北朝遺文 九州編』・『南北朝遺文 東北編』・『南北朝遺文 関東編』等の検索によって、各事例を抽出・整理する作業を進めた。 また、「鎌倉幕府御家人重層配置体制」と地域社会との具体的な関係を、現地景観復元と関連づけて明らかにするフィールドの候補として肥前国彼杵荘福田村（長崎県長崎市福田地域）をリストアップし、現地調査を実施した（2022年3月16～19日）。現地調査にあたって、長崎県長崎市福田地域に該当する明治期の絵図・公図、および現在の長崎市基本図を入手し、福田村故地の範囲、中世城館跡、寺社所在地、土地利用状況等を確認した。当該地域については2022年度以降も調査を継続する予定である。 これらの作業と関わって、単一所領に複数の御家人が重層的に権益を有している事例の①Aに該当する肥後国人吉荘・肥前国彼杵荘を題材とした論文を発表し、（惣）地頭の支配が受容あるいは排除される契機を具体的に明らかにした（「東国地頭支配の受容と排除」〈田中大喜編『中世武家領主の世界』勉誠出版、2021年8月〉）。Comprehensive study of the Kamakura Shogunate Gokenin multi-layered system by exhaustive collection of cases and field surveyJapan Society for the Promotion of Science：Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Res...See More
- A comprehensive study of the Shikoku Henro through the creation of cultural material studies and the elucidation of the culture of sacred sites on ShikokuJapan Society for the Promotion of Science：Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (B)Date (from‐to) : 2020/04 -2025/03Author : 胡 光; 長谷川 賢二; 守田 逸人; 須藤 茂樹; 西 耕生; 小幡 尚; モートン 常慈; 松永 友和; 村上 紀夫; 大石 雅章; 町田 哲; 中川 未来; 川岡 勉; 浅川 泰宏; 青木 亮人; 竹川 郁雄歴史学、国文学、民俗学、地理学、社会学、美術史など多彩な学問分野の研究者を結集して、各自の専門性を活かしながら連携して「霊場」の学際的総合的な調査研究を行った。8月1日の研究会は、コロナ感染症対応として、オンラインで実施し、研究代表者・胡光、研究協力者井上淳により、四国遍路の新史料について研究報告を行い、全国から研究者の参集を得た。10月29日には、公開講演会・シンポジウムをオンライン併用で愛媛大学において開催し、研究分担者・浅川泰宏、研究協力者・大本敬久のほかの研究報告を行い、多分野の比較巡礼論について検討した。オンラインでは、北海道や台湾からの参加もあった。これらの研究報告は論考にまとめ、『四国遍路と世界の巡礼』第8号を2023年3月に刊行した。また、研究代表者・胡光、研究分担者・青木亮人・中川未来・西耕生・長谷川賢二・松永友和、研究協力者・井上淳・今村賢司・内田九州男・大本敬久・岡本桂典・神楽岡幼子・川岡勉・田井静明・高嶋賢二・竹川郁雄・寺内浩・長井健・中川未来・野村美紀・松原潔・御厨義道らは、これまでの各自の研究成果を『四国遍路と世界の巡礼（上）』（創風社出版）にまとめて刊行し、同書は愛媛出版文化賞を受賞した。ほかに、月刊『へんろ』にも毎月交代で最新研究成果を掲載した。これらの研究成果を愛媛大学ミュージアムで「聖地へのあこがれ展」として一般公開した。調査活動はコロナ感染症対策をしながら、浄明院（松山市）の資料を借用して学内で調査を行ったほか、四国霊場第15番札所国分寺資料調査を徳島城博物館において、第75番札所善通寺文書調査を香川県立ミュージアム（高松市）で、実施した。A comprehensive study of the Shikoku Henro through the creation of cultural material studies and the elucidation of the culture of sacred sites on ShikokuJapan Society for the Promotion of Science：Gra...See More
- Comprehensive and Inter-disciplinal study on Wandering to study and Pilgrimages around Buddhist temples and Shinto-Shrines in Medieval JapanJapan Society for the Promotion of Science：Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research Grant-in-Aid for Transformative Research Areas (B)Date (from‐to) : 2020/10 -2023/03Author : 苅米 一志; 佐々木 守俊; 服部 光真; 守田 逸人; 川崎 剛志; 小林 郁方法論としては、第一に地域寺社の有する資料（教化のメディア）に注目し、寺社の構造と民衆との関係性を明らかにした。第二に、僧伝史料・寺社縁起を収集してその読解を進め、彼らの移動と交流がとりもつ地域寺社どうしの関係性を明らかにした。第三に、考古学・美術史分野の資料を活用し、遊歴・参詣・巡礼の実態について解明した。 具体的な研究分担としては、川崎剛志が修験道に関する古文書の他、文学作品を利用した研究、佐々木守俊が仏像を中心とした中世仏教美術の研究、守田逸人が四国遍路を中心とした巡礼寺院の研究、服部光真が古文書を中心とした寺院所蔵資料の総合的研究、小林郁が伊勢神宮を中心とした参詣文化の研究を進展させている。成果を持ち寄る研究会はほぼ隔月で実施され、それぞれが研究する寺社を西洋の修道院と比較可能とするため、いくつかの特質を抽出したマトリックスを作成して研究発表を行なった。また随時の研究会として研究分担者および協力者が研究発表を行なっている。具体的には、守田逸人が善通寺文書の形成について、古代から近代までを見通した報告を行ない、千枝大志が戦国期における伊勢神宮の門前町の展開について報告を行なった。これらの報告には、他３班の構成員も参加している。 以上を通して、中世日本の地域寺社により、どのように世界認識が構築され、社会統合がなされていたかを明らかにした。その上で、ヨーロッパ史を中心とする他研究班と共同し、各々の成果を比較・検討した。当所、研究方針として挙げられた「人の移動・交流に使用された経路を実地踏査する」という点については、各所属機関の行動制限により、まだ実施が難しい状況であるが、次年度以降の実施を目指すこととした。Comprehensive and Inter-disciplinal study on Wandering to study and Pilgrimages around Buddhist temples and Shinto-Shrines in Medieval JapanJapan Society for the Promotion of Science：Grants-in-Aid for...See More
- Restoration research on the historical process of Japanese manor（Shōen） landscapeJapan Society for the Promotion of Science：Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (C)Date (from‐to) : 2018/04 -2022/03Author : 守田 逸人地域社会の景観・構造の歴史過程を現地調査や文献史料をもとに明らかにする本研究では、東大寺領伊賀国黒田荘故地（現三重県名張市一帯）を主要なフィールドとしてきた。そして研究代表者の問題関心の広がりと、本研究の題材としての有効性を考慮し、研究代表者の居住地に近く、かつ荘園絵図を含むまとまった中世以降の史料を残す讃岐国善通寺領故地（現香川県善通寺市内）を補足的なフィールドとして題材にに加えてきた。2020年度のおもな研究実績は下記の通りである。 【現地調査】2020年3月以降、地球規模で広がった新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により、2020年度は主要なフィールドである東大寺領伊賀国黒田荘故地の現地調査を実現できなかった。そのため、2020年度は補足的なフィールドである讃岐国善通寺領故地に力点をシフトし、現地調査と景観復元の作業を進めた。このフィールドは研究代表者の居住地に近いため、混雑を伴う交通機関を利用しない等、コロナ禍のなかでも比較的安全に調査活動を行うことができるからである。2020年度は、明治時代初期の作成にかかる大型の村絵図（善通寺市教育委員会蔵）の調査、通称地名・一帯に点在する湧水地点・中世居館などの現地調査、およびそれらと水田の展開のあり方との関係性について検討し、GISシステムへ記録した。成果の一部は、善通寺市立筆岡小学校での出前授業にて公開した（札所寺院・遍路道調査検討委員会（香川県政策部文化芸術局文化振興課世界遺産・日本遺産等推進グループ）札所寺院調査報告会関連講演「地域いき社会の足あとを学ぶ」（善通寺市立筆岡小学校、2021年2月21日））。 【画像史料の整理】2020年度は、2018年度に東大寺領伊賀国黒田荘故地（名張市竜口地区）にて調査・撮影した区有文書のうち、分割撮影した大型近世絵図の画像データの接合や荘園絵図画像データの整理など、画像処理の作業も行った。Restoration research on the historical process of Japanese manor（Shōen） landscapeJapan Society for the Promotion of Science：Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (...See More
- A comprehensive study of the Shikoku Henro based on the recearch of local historical materialsJapan Society for the Promotion of Science：Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (B)Date (from‐to) : 2017/04 -2021/03Author : EBESU HikaruThe purpose of this research is to clarify the history of Shikoku Henro by recearching historical materials from all over Shikoku. The Shikoku Henro consists of three elements: "pilgrims," "areas welcoming pilgrims," and "sacred sites," but research on "sacred sites" has been the least. The reason for this is that materials on sacred sites were not studied because they were considered objects of faith. Therefore, with the cooperation of various quarters, researchers from various fields in the four prefectures of Shikoku came together to conduct an all-Shikoku research on sacred sites, including temples and shrines that were not included in the fudosho.
